As you know, I posted yesterday that Jeter had tied Lou Gehrig for the most hits all time by a Yankee. Well, it is VERY possible that we will see history in the making. I will post as soon as it happens! Also, I know that Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio and the Iron Horse himself Lou Gehrig will go down as the greatest Yankees to EVER play the game. HOWEVER, I want to add Jeter to that list. Yes, I know he hasn't retired yet and won't for many more years. He is what you could call the epitome of the Yankees the past decade. He has class, heart and dedication towards the game.

You can agree to disagree with me, but I believe he will go down as ONE of the greatest Yankees to ever play the game. Another player is Mariano Rivera but that's another blog for another day.

Now for the 1st post for the New York Giants before they open the season on Sunday against the Washington Redskins. Osi, Manning, Jacobs, Smith, Nicks, Bardens the entire Offensive Line look to bring the Super Bowl back to NY! I'll be back as Kickoff nears. Until then, have a great weekend and I'll be back with football updates on Saturday and early Sunday before the Giants are set to kickoff at 4:15 PM.
