The New York Islanders and Minnasotta Wild have struck a deal at the NHL Draft.

The Islanders send Nino Niederreiter to the Wild for restricted free agent Cal Clutterbuck and the 70th overall pick in this years draft.

This is a great move for the Islanders because it adds offensive talent and grit to the team.

Clutterbuck, 25, has played with John Tavares before in the OHL and they know each others game quite well.

Other than this past season which was the lockout season, he scored 15 and 19 goals respectively.
