The Islanders have signed their last remaining Restricted Free Agent, Thomas Hickey. He signed a two year deal worth $1.35 million.
Whether or not Hickey will live up to his first round selection is yet to be seen. He is a good young player, who with time will develope. Playing along Lubomir Visnovsky his game should greatly improve.
The Islanders have added enormous talent once the free agency started and have locked up their young core for the future. There is plenty of talent left to be had and at a reasonable price. The next two months will be interesting.
