The Islanders continue to spend money....on their own players. Restricted Free Agent Cal Clutterbuck has signed a 4 year $11 million dollar contract.
With Clutterbuck signing this contract the Islanders are now over the new cap limit and have secured a player with loads of talent and one who plays with an edge.
The Islanders now have two of the leading hit leaders in the NHL from the last few years with the other being Matt Martin.
Whether or not he plays on the first line of third line, Clutterbuck will be a valuable asset to the team and will be an instant fan favorite.
